Help me remember this kids book about a crocodile going to a party

So my son is 10 so this wasn't too long ago, maybe less than 5 years ago we had a book I can't remember the name but we remember the plot well

I thought the crocodile was calmly mr wanny but probably wrong, he was going to a birthday party and think he was late, he met some animals (can't remember what type) who gave him some balloons to fly there, as he was flying a bird saw the balloons and thought they were sweets so pecked them and he fell down from the sky, then he met some penguins who I think used him as a sled and he ended up flying into an elephants bum!

He eventually makes it to the party and all the animals he met are there, there's also a tortoise o think (or snail) that features in the story and right at the end of the book is it arriving late because it's slow 🤷🏻‍♀️

Please help I've tried googling but nothing comes up and it wasn't even that long ago 😩
