Folio Society children’s books - any alternatives?

Some very dear friends have had their first child and I want to send them a really beautiful volume of nursery rhymes or poems. The Folio Society would be my habitual choice (and I’d choose any of their Fairy Tales books if they were still in stock) but I haven’t bought anything from them in a while and wondered if there might be other comparable choices.

I know prices have gone up staggeringly - but I’m more concerned with finding something lovely. Not interested in vintage, pre-loved, second hand, whatever - I want something new, for a new baby. (No paperbacks or bargain books either.)

Suggestions welcome!

“Everyone Sang” by William Sieghart is a beautiful large book of poems,A collection of traditional and more modern poems with gorgeous illustrations.
I think it would be ideal for this type of gift

I bought this book for my daughters 1st birthday. Lovely big hardback book.
She's almost 15 now. We still have the book.
A mix of classic stories and rhymes.
