Thank goodness! Roald Dahl's books will be printed in their original form

It's still unclear to me though...does this mean the original books and "edited" versions will both be available simultaneously, with the "edited" ones being the "standard" and the original ones re-branded as the "The Roald Dahl Classic Collection"? Or will the "edited" versions not be released after all?

Both will be available, presumably the unedited ones in a more expensive special collection!

Never mind, this article clears it up: the original and "edited" versions will be simultaneously available!

“The Roald Dahl Classic Collection” will be available alongside the newly released Puffin Roald Dahl books for young readers, “which are designed for children who may be navigating written content independently for the first time,” Puffin said. “Readers will be free to choose which version of Dahl’s stories they prefer.”

Yes presumably with a "vintage" look to discourage young first-time readers from buying the originals...

Also from the second article:
The original versions will be released under the Penguin logo and will include archive material relevant to each of the stories.

Wonder what the "archive material" will be...pictures of Dahl's handwritten drafts/notes? Pictures of places and peoples that inspired Dahl?

Sounds like it’s an opportunity to create a posher range and up sell Dalhs original books while still creating the “woke” version for mass consumption and everyone has fallen for it!
