Hey, my little one is obsessed with Wednesday Addams, she loves (snippets) of her new series and I know they've done a small book on her, but would it be acceptable to send her as Wednesday for world book day at school? She's 6. Thanks

Trust me, you are judged if you don't dress as a book character

No one cares, nothing bad will happen, but it I'd noticed.

Every staff room comments on who ISN'T a book character

What a load of rubbish. Nasty as well.

Oh my god save me from bitchy teachers and TAs who have nothing more important to think about. I suspect most of them don’t give a shit or discuss it and if anyone did I couldn’t give two fucks.

I sent dd in her Halloween black cat costume and wellies every world book day for her entire primary school career. Puss in boots is a book. Did I put any thought or effort into it? Did I bollocks! Have I got more important things to do? Yes I do!
