Please help me remember

Dear MN hive mind, please can you help me remember the name of a book I used to read my children.
It had a teddy bear and a rabbit teddy. The illustration was gorgeous, the characters didn't have smiles. The rabbit or the teddy lost something and was looking in his 'useful box'.
That's all I can remember right now.
Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about? Please?
If it helps, the book would have been about by 2005/6 ish.
