Finding 80s-90s book about school trip

I’m trying to identify a book I read in the early 90s aimed, I think, at pre-teen / early teen girls. It may have been part of a school series. It was a library book, so could have been written in the 80s.

The main character was a girl who was not allowed to do PE as she had something wrong with her leg and she was only allowed to wear plain clothes her Mum chose.

An eccentric Aunt came to stay and gave her some money as a present. The girl bought herself leggings and a lovely fashionable apricot coloured top, which her Mum did not really approve of.

A supply teacher at school encouraged/made her join in with PE.

She put her name down for the class ski trip and forged the signature on the permission form using her Aunt’s name, as her parents would not agree to her going.

Once in the trip, there was a girl called Cerise who wore a bright pink ski suit.

The main character may have been called Emma, I’m not sure. Or that could’ve been the aunt?

I’d be ever so grateful if someone can help me identify this book, it’s been bugging me for ages. It was a sort of “coming of age” book, where the girl tried new things.

It may have been one of a series, perhaps with each book about a different person in the class - I don’t quite remember, I just have this book stuck in my mind & would love to get hold of a copy.

Thanks in advance for any help :-)

This is Park Wood on Ice by Mary Hooper (part of her School Friends series).

Happy to help! I can’t even remember if I’ve read it to be honest, but I definitely read the first one in the series.
