Help me find a book from 80s/ 90s that mentioned Cape Canaveral in it

I used to have this great kids book that I read when I was about 5 in the early 90s and I'd love to try and find it. My dad got rid of it at a boot sale years ago annoyingly.

Here's what I remember about it:

• it was a square book with a aqua coloured cover I think it had a picture of a family and a rocket on the front
• pretty sure it featured Cape Canaveral in Florida had some kids/family in the story
• it may have been about a rocket launch
• think there was a dog that featured too

My googling is coming up with nothing and it's driving me nuts!

Hmm, I had a look and I don't think it's that one.

I'm not sure I'll ever find it as it feels a little 'niche' and I remember thinking when I was a kid that it was quite a random book.

Could it have been The Incredible Cottage Goes to the Moon by Willy Rushton?

Hurrah! It was a childhood favourite of mine too. There are four in the series and all are great. I saved my copies from a parental trip to the charity shop and still have them!
