Hi
I am REALLY hoping someone can help me.
I am looking for a particular Christmas book I had as a child (around 3/4) that has been lost over the years (I've moved a lot) so I am wanting to buy a new edition of the same book to read with my book mad two year old.
My mum bought the book in 1989ish from Marks and Spencer's for £4 she can also remember it and the description I gave her was the same as what she remembered too. However, I've looked all over Google, Waterstones, M and S, Google images, eBay, world books etc and still no joy 🥲
So if you can help and send me a link if you know where I can find it that would be AMAZING. I'm not sure of the name but I do know it had the poem by Clement C. Moore "it was the night before Christmas." However it had other stories also.
Possible name: Tis the night before Christmas and other stories
Book: hardback, with a dust cover
Bought: 1989,
Colour: the books dust cover was pillar box red.
Writing: the writing was in gold and looked like handwriting was wavy.
One author was 100%: Clement C. Moore, but it had another author and/or a illustrator too.
The front cover: There was a rectangle on the dust cover in the rectangle it has a fireplace in the middle with stockings hanging from it. It has a Christmas tree on the left of the picture and on the right it has a chair with Santa (not cartoon but like a portrait) sitting in it.
This is all I can remember about the book but if you know the book or who the publisher is or even where I can get it PLEASE reply below I loved this book and I am totally sure my DB would Loves it too.
Thank you in advance x
