Oh ok I can recommend lots of lovely ones :)

The little people big dreams are lovely books and my kids pre school to ks2 love them. I have lots of books on celebrating differences (line of work if you want to know any of these).

The dinosaur that pooped the…great series of books

Usborne books have some nice factual ones for space or flowers etc :)

Julia Donaldson song birds are nice kids reading series - Oxford reading free are bit boring but are good for learning the ropes and what lots schools use.

Orchard toys have lots of nice games to work on cvcs or reading sight words etc

One of my kids love the funny bones book series

My eldest used to love a series called Evie and the magical ponies or something like that - very girlie and samey but she absoloutely loved that series.

Hope that helps x

some children's books have simple words & simple concepts for the child to read.

others have complex words & a strong rhythm / poem & are much more fun to read. I prefer the latter but kids need a mix.

examples with a poem are

  • Julia Donaldson -
  • Hairy McClary books
  • Giant Jam Sandwich
  • Allenburgh books
  • bubble Trouble
