Anyone else read the "Masha" books when they were younger?

Around the early eighties I remember reading a series of books about a girl called Masha set in pre-Revolution Russia. I can't locate anything on Amazon and was just wondering if anyone else had come across these books.

I vaguely recollect the name but you could check out the book sleuth section at abebooks.com/co.uk and you can describe the title/books and people will send you messages about it if they know.

thanks luciemule, I have located a copy on ebay but it it very expensive (more than £100) - a first edition perhaps.
