Can anyone recommend any chapter books for my dd6. She loves princesses, mermaids but also history and reading about women who changed the word books, the fairy magic series & delphie the ballerina but I think she wants something a little more challenging and loves learning. She can read independently (managed Enid Blyton). Not a stealth boast but I can’t see beyond Rabbit & Bear books for ds7 at the moment and struggling for ideas.
Also ideas for Dd4 who has just started reading but seems similar to her sister, loves octopus, animals. She loved me reading gobbolino to her. I seem stuck on toddler/preschool books that we have read a lot and are now reading with Dc4 who is 2.
