Hello,

Looking for book recommendations for a 2 year old boy and 4 year old girl please. He's a typical boy & into cars & diggers and she's a typical girl into princesses if that helps.

Would be great if they were a series I could build on.

Thank you

Bumping.

I think I'm sorted for the 2 year old but the 4 year old girl I'm a little stuck.

The Tom fletcher books there's a ... in my book. What age are these ranged at and would they be suitable?

How about Milly Molly Mandy? My 4 year old enjoyed that. Or Pippi Longstocking?

Brambly Hedge
Winnie and Wilbur
Katie Morag
My Naughty Little Sister
Rabbit and Bear
Amelia Jane
Little Miss series

If she likes princesses, how about the Fairytale Hairdresser series by Abby Longstaff? There's a whole series of them, with a different take on classic fairytales (so plenty of princesses). They are good enough stories my older DS used to listen intently when I read them to DD.

Alternatively, there aren't any princesses but DD loved the Winnie the Witch picture books by Valerie Thomas at 4. Again, DS liked them too.

DD enjoyed the Supertato books but not enough to want them again and again.

Julia Donaldson or Rachel Bright books would be prefect.

I'd say the Tom Fletcher books would be better suited to you 2yo and they are very simple.
