What is the most lovely book that anyone's read to give to a 3 year old?

My 3 year old currently loves 'the digger and the flower' by Joseph kuefler. It is beautiful.

The one that makes me well up is 'once there were giants' by martial Waddell.

I love the snail and the whale. It's beautifully written, not too long to keep their attention and it's a lovely story.

I was going to say Oliver Jeffers. how to catch a star is lovely.

Personally while I love the Jolly Postman, I think it's better with older children who have the physical dexterity to get the letters out

Dd had the most beautiful Cinderella pop up book and treated it so roughly… I coujd have cried. I appreciated it much more than she did!
