My little one is almost 10 months and I'm after some recommendations for some books for him that will last a while hopefully!

Already got some Thomas the tank engine books, bear hunt, dear zoo, spot the dog, etc. But looking for some more?

Are the that's not my... any good? Or too young for him now he's nearly a year?

Brown Bear, Brown Bear
Peek A Who?
Everywhere Babies
The Tickle Book
The Bedtime Bear
Peepo
Hungry Caterpillar
Pip and Posy
Oi Frog and friends
Tales From Acorn Wood

The ‘That’s Not My…’ won’t last.

Leo Lionni books are lovely, e.g. 'A colour of his own'.

My nearly one year old is obsessed with Hairy Maclary, so that's my recommendation! They're also (IMO) a lot more fun to read as a parent than a lot of other books available as well.

I agree! Rhyming books are generally great fun and I'm much more likely to do voices, noises etc with these books
