What could be a real page-turner for a nearly 7 year old girl (to read herself)?

As I've posted before she has lost her enthusiasm for reading atm and I would like to inspire her. But I haven't got a clue what to go for! Dh is reading Harry Potter to her, which she likes, but couldn't cope with reading herself yet. She's had Faraway Tree and Wishing Chair read to her as well.
She still likes to have big-ish print in the books she reads.

Any ideas? I am so sad about her current lack of love for reading!

I would recommend Gwyneth Rees. They're what got dd going and they are much better than they look. Proper chapter books but quite large type and little pictures dotted around. They have titles like Fairy Dust and so on, or Mermaid Magic if she's not big on fairies.

DD1 is the same age. Jill Murphy's Worst Witch books seem to be quite popular, and she has just discovered Clarice Bean.

Thanks for that.
