Can you recommend books (age 10-13) for a shortlist for me please?

OK here's the brief:
Must:
have been published during 2007 in paperback
be suitable for 10-13 yr-olds
not be part of a series (unless it's the first one!)

My ideas so far are:
Tunnels
Skulduggery Pleasant
Before I Die
HIVE
