Boys recommendations age 5

5 yr old reception boy loves dinosaurs and animals. Likes me reading chapter books as well as short story picture books. Any recommendations?

I dont know many dinosaur themed books but I always recommend these two as my boys loved them.

The Notebook of Doom series. Both my kids loved them; so much fun. I cant recomend them enough.

Geronimo Stilton books. Great wee detective series.

Enid Blyton Faraway Tree books are good for this age.

My eldest dc is yr1 ( but a reluctant reader) loves the Michael Morpugo Mudpuddle farm series. Dc2 is in reception and loves them too. Short chapters with pictures. The Rabbit and Bear series are well loved.
They loved me reading Charlottes Web to them a few months ago.

Dc2 is in reception and loves dinosaurs but we struggle to find many books. Harry and the dinosaurs series is good if not read yet.

There's a book I remember from my childhood called The Village Dinosaur - I think it's by Phyllis Arkle (sp?). From what I remember that would be a good read aloud chapter book for a 5 year old.

The Dinosaur Cove series of books is fab, my son loved them and had them read to him nightly for months!
