Trying to remember this book about a posh cat who runs away!

It’s a picture book, would have been reading it to my eldest maybe 2012.

Quite bold/bright lines and colours.

It was about a girl with a cat who was quite precious I think. It runs away or something, and when it comes back at the end it’s all dirty. I think they end up getting in touch again via a phone box?! I seem to remember it’s a Persian type cat.

We think the name of the cat is something like Mr Fuzzikins or a similar style but not sure if I’m confusing that with another story!

Are the sequels any good? I have ordered a used copy of the original (DD1 is very excited that her little sister can have it) but I might look the others up in the library :)

Both sequels are worth getting. One is about Mr Pusskins adjusting to life with a new kitten and the other is about him entering a pet show. As you can see I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of his life! 😄

Ha, they sound brilliant :o thanks. I love books like that, I always prefer the really bright “loud” illustrations etc. So many great books out there now :)
