Usborne Young Readers - do they spoil the real thing?

We got given the Usborne Young Readers Christmas Carol and my daughter absolutely loves reading it. I’ve been wondering whether to get the rest but I wonder if it might spoil the real thing when she’s older - like if she reads a young version of Little Women will it spoil it later?
Has anyone ever found that with their DC or do they just happily reread them in the full version when they’re older?

My daughters love them.

My ds read the shortened version of the railway children, when he read the full version later it didn't ruin it but he was annoyed that they left out parts of the plot - that's the only thing I would watch out for.

My parents gave my then eight year old an abridged version of Anne of Green Gables - which served to whet her appetite for the full version!

I read several Ladybird versions of classics when I was little and then read the real ones later. I don't think it spoilt them at all.
I can remember being excited to find out the extra bits!
