Please help! Looking to help a pupil find books to read. He has ASD (this is very relevant as it means this list of requirements is pretty non-negotiable), aged 11 reading age is 15ish but books need to be appropriate to his actual age.
Requirements:
People characters, not animals.
Based in reality, not way out fantasy (Harry Potter is way out in this case).
Not biography.
Not historical.
Serious, not funny.
Not violent (no Alex Rider).
Science fiction could be accepted (Ready Player One was rejected).
Screens/ computers/ technology are fascinations.
Throw me your suggestions please!
