Looking for recommendations on chapter books for a 9 year old boy with Christmas theme, preferably with some pictures (not completely text)

Also non Christmas themed chapter books, he likes books with animals in too if it helps

Christmas at Nettleford by Malcolm Saville is lovely.
Wings over Witchend also by Malcolm Saville is my go to Christmas read though.
Also Winter Holiday by Arthur Ransome is a good winter read.
