DS has just turned 7. He's spotted the goosebumps books and I wondered are they really scary? Are they better for slightly older children, say 9-10? Half the problem is that you never know what children may find scary - I remember reading some stuff around his age that wasn't meant to be particularly scary but got stuck in my head for some reason.
