Stories about fairies?

Can anyone recommend any stories about fairies?
My 5 year old DD enjoys both chapter books and picture books.

Yeah, Silky the Fairy from Enchanted Wood. My DS liked Rainbow Magic books in infant school, so I'd agree with that too.

Flower Fairy books for the pictures; the text is fine but not so much a story as a poem for each fairy.

The Janet and Anne Grahame Johnstone illustrations of fairies are beautiful.
