Just wondering what sort of age this is suitable for? I have a newly reading 6yr old and would like to move them on to chapter books away from the early reader phonics type of books We’ve read some Flat Stanley which he enjoyed a lot. Stopped during BFG as he wasn’t keen on it (tends to be a little fearful for his age I feel and has very active imagination so the giants started to scare him). We got given Ice Monster by his auntie because he likes woolly mammoths but I’m sure if it’s a little old for him (and don’t fancy reading though myself
