Does anyone remember this book?!

Calling on the hive mind to help me figure this out!

I remember a book from the 1980s, it was a kids book about a rabbit who was afraid of everything. He is particularly worried about "robbers and ghosts" that come in the night. The rabbit has a friend called Baby Willie who wears dungarees.

At some point in the book, the main character finds his confidence by fighting off a fox.

Any help?! Me and my boyfriend are going crazy trying to remember the title and find it on Google.
