I have a vague memory of a book when I was a child 1980s early 1990a. It was a book about a woman who set up a cafe/cake shop in her front room. I think her kids used to watch what was going on from the top step of the stairs. It was a soft back book. Copybook size. If I remember rightly there book had a number of books on different topics in the series. I have no idea why it came into my head but would love to find out the name. I have tried googling/amazon/abe books etc.
