I'm desperately trying to remember the name of an author who's books I enjoyed at about age 10. All I can remember is that they were short-ish stories that were a bit strange, and one of them involved the main character squashing raisins onto a fly swat and licking them off in front of his parents. They were recommended by my year 6 teacher as a follow on from goosebumps.
Does anyone have any idea what I might be on about please?
If it helps I was born in the early 90s so will have been reading them early 00s!
