My DD is a bit older but the only books I can get her to read to the end are the Daisy and the trouble with... series by Kes Gray. They're aimed at younger readers and are, apparently, "amazing!"

Lots of good suggestions here. I’d also recommend the Lolo books by Niki Daly and the Naughtiest Unicorn series by Pip Bird.
