Book a Recommendations for DS11

DS 11 has been reading a lot of Robert Muchamore books lately but his teacher has said he needs to branch out. Can anyone recommended a new series or individual novels that might interest him? He is a good reader and likes page turners.Some of his favourites are: Cherub series, The 1000 Year Old Boy, all David Walliams books and Harry Potter. He also likes animals, adventure, sports and cars.

For animals, Willard Price's "Adventure" series are fab. They are a tad dated as in mo mobile phones and such, but they incorporate a wealth of nature/animal facts into exciting stories for that age. Amazon Adventure is the first one, and there are 13 or 14 iirc. I loved them as a child and often recommend them for animal lovers.

The Mysterious Benedict Society is a trilogy which he might enjoy
