What was this book

Treasury of stories from my childhood (80s but book may be older) Whitish cover, A4 ish size, hardback cover. The only story in it I can remember is one about someone baking a cake with soap powder instead of flour and filling their house with bubbles when it was cooking.

Help me oh wise mumsnetters!

I had one of those Treasury books. Hard back with a hologram type picture inlaid on the front cover.

Treasure Island; Pied Piper; Arabian Nights; Cinders and other classics.
There were so many others, some I didn't manage to conquer and I admit it was a disappointing Christmas present at first but I grew to love it.
