Well I'm not sure if your Harry Potter comment means he already has them or totally wrong genre, but if similar how about phillip Pullman or percy Jackson type books?

If you prefer something younger maybe Narnia or enid blyton type things? You can search by category on there. There is a children section and a young adult section depending on how advanced his reading is.

Brilliant. Phillip Pullman. He LOVES his dark materials. Thank you

Have you seen the selection of free ones that they have for the isolation time? You should check those before you get one from audible proper.

Try your local library my children constantly listen to books via borrowbox. Always free.

My 10 year old loved "the house with chicken legs" by Sophie Anderson, so did I for that matter, we read it but I presume there's an audio version. Just brilliant writing, almost poetic and deals with so much, pure rites of passage!

Time travelling with a hamste by Ross Welford. It’s an intelligent, poignant adventure that kept all of us in our house wanting to know what happened next. Same with his other book - the Thousand Year Old Boy.

Thanks everyone. Some great suggestions

My 10 year old dd is a big audible and Harry Potter fan. She has enjoyed

The Rick Riordan Percy Jackson series
My Brother is a Superhero series by David Solomons
The Chrestomanci series by Diana Wynne-Jones
The Charlie Bone books by Jenny Nimmo
The Wizards of Once series by Cressida Cowell
Kid Normal by Chris Smith

The first 3 are particular favourites

My lot love Frank Cottrell Boyce. Great stories read brilliantly.
