Year 7 and 8 Guided Reading

Please, can you tell me what books your children are reading at school as guided reading. I think that is the correct term, where they read and analyse as a class. We're moving back to the UK so my son will be entering Year 8. Many thanks.

At DS school they read The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and William Blake poetry in Yr7 and Animal Farm and Romeo and Juliet in Yr 8

There is a book called The Wolf and the Goats written by Juned.

Very refreshing book and isn't the usual wolf eats the Goats story.
