My 7 year old loves things like this, there was a book his teacher had in reception that he loved but I dont know what it was. Can anyone recommend a book of the classic Greek Myths aimed at this age group, that has really good illustrations? Thanks.

I had an Enid Bylton one when I was little. Might be worth a Google.

My kids enjoyed this one.

Atticus the Storyteller is very good.

The Marcia Williams books are good if you want something more like a comic.

Orchard Books do a set of 16 books of Greek and Roman myths aimed at 7+. They're by Geraldine McCaughrean and illustrated by Tony Ross. Think there are two stories in each book.

We enjoyed the Usborne Greek myths book

We also like both the Usborne one and Atticus the Storyteller. I'd say the Usborne is slightly younger with fewer stories (the well-known ones) and more illustrations.

He might enjoy having the Percy Jackson books read to him.

My 6 yr old loves the Usborne Norse Myths book / has read it cover to cover countless times. They do a Greek myths one too.
