Hello... I am trying to stick to the four Christmas Gift Challenge (Something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read) but struggling to find a good picture book that my daughter doesn't already have so looking for some book recommendations please :)

what about a personalised book like this?

Ricekrispie22 · 17/11/2019 12:39

How old is she?

chloe28m · 17/11/2019 12:44

A while ago I ordered this picture book for my daughter called Believe in Pixie Hart. My daughter has also got so many books on her bookshelf but this book is written by an independent author so only available online....sophie-valentine.com/

I'm going to order another one for my best friends little girl for Christmas. I paid about £5 plus postage. It came wrapped up and if you message the author she signs it for you too!

Thank you for this, I will take a look :) I love a personalised book but she does have a few :)

It is about believing in yourself and never giving up on your dreams. My daughter absolutely loves it...Often asks to read it at bedtime! Just seen my link doesn't work if you click on it. This should work sophie-valentine.com/ Think you can buy it on Amazon too!

My favourite (and kids favourite) picture book - if my daddy were a dog. Very funny !

miller120 · 17/11/2019 13:30

Thank you @WaddIelikeapenguin I will have a look at these. Snow Dragon is a lovely book :)

Oh really @saderudx that's good to know & @chloe28m you've sold it to me, just ordered it. I think it sounds right up my daughters street :)

We haven't got that book either @diet4eva but she loves dogs so will check it out.

Thank you everyone for your recomendations. You have been very helpful. I will have to come on here more often :)

Meg and Mog are good

NeverTwerkNaked · 17/11/2019 13:53

What about one of the Story Orchestra books? My daughter absolutely loves these. I'll try and find a link

puddleduckmummy · 17/11/2019 13:57

The Wonderbly books are lovely. The girl/boy who lost their name. You choose the object to symbol each letter of their name and they 'find' their name by collecting the letters

WaddIelikeapenguin · 17/11/2019 14:33

Snow dragon is still my 8 yr olds favourite Smile

If she doesn’t have brambly hedge they’re utterly enchanting
