Hi, my nearly 6 year old son is showing an interest in Roald Dahl books. He's read the colour illustrated versions of Fantastic Mr Fox and The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me. Where do we go from here? Thanks in advance.

George's Marvelous Medicine

The Magic Finger (though I find this very dark and did as a child!)

The Twits

Charlie and the chocolate factory and Danny the champion of the world, the BFG (although the giants are a bit gruesome)

Defo George's marvellous medicine the witches,Matilda-The book people do full set that we've got for DH wonderful to read again X

I have no idea! I bought the full set from Costco for ds1 for this upcoming Christmas and was wondering this myself, so I'll be watching with interest. He has a super vivid imagination and is easily freaked out, so things like The Witches and The BFG are definitely out for him for now, but I'm not sure if even Matilda, James and the Giant Peach and The Twits will set him off.
