My ds is due to start high school in a few weeks and just noticing in the welcome pack that they have asked children to read one fiction and one non-fiction book during the summer to discuss at English class. No problems with the fiction as he has read plenty over the summer but he never reads non-fiction (unless you could count Horrible Histories when he was younger). Any suggestions? He is soccer mad so something soccer based might grab his attention.
