My DD loves reading, she seems a wee bit ahead compared to friends, so i'm struggling to find suitable books.
She quite likes Majorie Blackman & is currently reading Hacker.
Doesn't like any "girlie books" so no princess, boarding school type stuff.
I found her reading the hunger games the other day so she seems quite into futuristic type stuff. But not sure that's particularly appropriate.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Anthony Horowitz is good, various levels.

There's also a series called Charlie Boone can't remember the author sorry.
Bear Grylls has since an adventure series such are surprisingly readable and DS enjoyed very much.

Your DD sounds like she enjoys the same sort of books mine does. Recently she has loved the Ruby Redfort books. She's also really likes the Lemony Snicket books for being a bit darker and quirkier. A Wrinkle in Time was also a hit for a science fiction/ fantasy sort of thing.
