Book to read preschool children about Armistice Day

Hi,

I run a little playgroup for the under 5's and am doing an Armistice day themed session for the second week in November. We'll be making poppy badges and playing with sand and soldier toys etc. I was wondering if anyone knew of any picture books around the subject that we could read at story time? Thanks in advance!

Mmmm. Personally I would not do this with pre-schoolers. I do not think it is appropriate. As for "playing with soldier toys" - please don't. I think it is disrespectful to those who suffered.

They are too young to be sucked into this in any way.
