Safeguarding books

I am wondering what views mums have on buying safeguarding books for their children? I have written a picture book that is illustrated with some lovely child friendly pictures and some UK schools have bought it and those that do love it but strangely I do not think anyone else has noticed it. I appreciate its not considered child friendly but wondered what is stopping people from buying such a book? I was planning to write a series but now not so sure. The book is called Monty-Moo the Rabbit Says Get off My Tail! and it is about Monty-Moo the rabbit who meets someone he is unsure of. It goes on to tell how adults should not have secrets 'like that' with you; no one should touch your tail etc . It has a powerful message and is not explicit or frightening. It also touches on the issue of consent. Any thoughts about this?
