Story book about wearing glasses for a 3 years old?

We have been told today that dd needs to wear glasses, she doesn't like the idea,
I am trying to turn it into something that she is excited about it,
Is there any books suitable for 3 years old that speaks about wearing glasses?

We had it. Utterly beautiful book.

Theres a peppa pig episode where she goes to the opticians.

I agree with Peppa, we watched the episode & read the book. My DD has a squint & very poor vision in her left eye. She has now worn glasses for a few months and she has just started to wear a patch for a few hours each day to strengthen her weaker eye.
A few other things that helped-
-Eye doctor Barbie
-Wearing my own glasses lots & other family members did the same

• spotting other people, esp children out & about who also wore glasses
• looking at other children's characters who wore glasses
• I pointed out clothing that made her feel special too, she has a pair of clarks pumps with monkeys wearing glasses on & a top with a character wearing glasses.

You can get glasses for a Build a Bear too. Theres also a Barbie opticians doll. My DD started wearing glasses age 9 and I got her these.

Funnily enough she doesn't like peppa pig, so that wouldn't work,

I have ordered the mole who needed glasses :) and also saw even fairies need glasses.

Barbie opticians was a bit overpriced on Amazon (close to £70) so as much as I love the idea

You could just get the Barbie Optician doll rather than the full play set.

Home And Dry by Sarah Smith. Glasses not mentioned at all but a fab book and the small child in it wears specs — my then 3-yr-old glasses-wearer picked up on it and was very pleased.

I had a book called “all the better to see you with” and another called “magic glasses” but we are talking well over 20 years ago so I’m sure better ones exist

There's a Charlie and Lola story about going to the opticians and Lola actually doesn't need glasses but wants them. Then they go home and make some of their own. You could maybe make a cardboard or pipe cleaner pair and play around and add stickers or stuff she likes to them. Just to get her excited about glasses. Make funny frames and take pictures so she can see what she looks like? Good luck!

Even Fairies wear glasses is lovely, my daughter is 7 and still loves that story!
