Hi! As the title says really, I'm looking for books that tell the story of a child being removed from home and placed with foster carers, from the child's perspective. Have looked at Jaqueline Wilson's Lily alone and the illustrated mum which were useful. Any more along these lines would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

I was going to suggest starting with Jacqueline Wilson. See you are already there Smile
I don't know any others, sorry, but this might bump you from unanswered threads.

The Rag bag family Yvonne Coppard
Jean Ure had a series called Foster family which was aimed at 8-11yo, imagine out of print but probably available on Amazon secondhand
