I am planning on putting together a ‘book’ box for my daughter for christmas as she loves reading and will find a corner to sit in with a book any available spare minute.
I will be very grateful for any suggestions for books you/your loved ones have read that hold a special place in your heart/bookshelf and would be suitable for this age group and upto age 10/11? Any genre goes - fiction, poetry, jokes, information, historical, novelty etc

She has recently read podkin one ear which she loved. I often find her re-reading Dr Seuss and Amelia Jane. Has already requested we get her rebel girls 2 as she liked the first one. She doesn’t consider herself to be a girly girl. She has plenty of interests but nature/the world and music get top billing.
We have many of the popular authors/book series already.
