Recommend me a Morpurgo book for a nearly-8yo girl.

I have a collection of them but haven't read any so wondered which would be best to start her with?

They are all fab ( and most of them make me cry) but do you have Kasper Prince of Cats?

Kasper Prince of Cats is both my DC’s favourite (6 and 9).

Mine is When the Whales Came, which I read them at 5 and 8.

Agree with Kaspar as a starter. That’s what my 7yo read first. She also liked Why the Whales Came and Little Foxes.

My DD really enjoyed King of the Cloud Forests at that age.
