Books for 5+ about Brownies or Guides

Hi! I’m looking for story books featuring Brownies or Guides. The only one we have is Maisie and the Monster which hinges around Brownie camp. Can you all think of any?

There was a series of actual brownies paperback books by Caroline Plaisted. Not sure of any about guides. What are you using them for?

To convince my daughter who has no idea what Brownies are that she wants to be one

How old is she? There is a group called Rainbows for 5-7yr olds if she falls into that .

There is lots of info on the Girlguiding website, you can look at the badges, and there's videos on there about brownies.

Send her to Rainbows! I’m a Rainbow leader so biased.

But back to books, how about looking for some old Brownie annuals on eBay. They have nice little stories in, puzzles etc.
Some will be way out of date but the stories will be fun to read still I’d have thought.

Second the suggestion of the Brownie books by Caroline Plaisted. Helping Hands is very popular in my school library!

Thank you all! I am indeed sending her to Rainbows but I just reckoned books about Rainbows specifically would be thin on the ground . I ordered a Caroline Plaisted one! Also it turns out she’s really chuffed she gets to wear a special t-shirt so I might not need to convince her overmuch.
