"My Story" series

I've just come across this series, whilst window-shopping on Amazon. I've never heard of them before - does anyone have any experience with them? Any good? For what age?

Here's a link to reference: My Story

Background - I have two prolific readers. DC1 is adult reading level and has a very sophisticated vocabulary but only an 11 year old's emotional capacity. DC2 is 6, can read anything but has definitely got the emotions and understanding of an infant schoolchild. They'd both lap up the subject matter but I'm wondering about the suitability.

My Story I'd say is aimed at about 8-11yos. You can pick your topic, some will be fine for a 6yo, I think dd2, who is very sensitive read a young queen Victoria at about that age for example. Ds loved the WWII ones, but he's more robust and interested in that time.

They're short, easy reads but the content is for children with good emotional intelligence.

Ah, that's exactly what I wanted to know - thanks both. Looks like I've missed the boat for the oldest, but they sound a little too much for the littlest yet. I'll maybe get the set and hold it for a couple of years for the youngest.
