Recommendations for bed time reading

Hi all.

I just wanted some recommendations on books for my little boy at bedtime we have read most of the Julian Donaldson but I think they are getting a bit short for him as he keeps saying that was a quick one I was considering basic Ronald Dahl but not sure if he’s a bit young.
He’s 4, 5 in December.
