I've been trying to work out what this children's book is for years. It doesn't ring a bell with anyone in my family but I remember really loving it.
I can't remember much more than that the premise was that the main character, a little girl, had springs instead of knee joints for some reason. This enabled her to jump very high; at one point I think she jumps over a bus.
The girl may or may not have been called Morag (granted that might be a mix-up with Katie Morag).
Any ideas please?!
