Bedtime stories - 21 mo

My DD is almost 21 months and has had a bedtime story since she was three months - but we've always done board books so that she could turn the pages and she likes being put in her cot with the book so she can look at it for herself.

But, I'm wondering if something a bit longer with more text and story would be sensible. I know she enjoys books like that at nursery but haven't tried them at home. A favourite is 'Come on Daisy'.

What do you read to your toddler at bedtime?

She's a perfect age for Toddle Waddle - Julia Donaldson.
