Hello. Bit of a urgh request but could really do with people's help here. My daughters (12 and 15) are both bookworms but as their Grandpa, my dad, hung himself very unexpectedly a few months back, they don't want to read about hanging.
Problem is it seems to be everywhere. My youngest is reading the hunger games book 3 at the moment and I have heard there is a song called 'The Hanging Tree'. She could just skip that part but is it a reoccurring theme?
What about 'To kill a Mockingbird'? Does it just mention hanging or talk about it in more detail? I really havent got the energy to go through book by book so was wondering if some kind people could tell me which books (classics and otherwise) it would be best to avoid. X
