Book Trail

Not sure where to post this so please let me know if you think it would be better somewhere else.

Now years ago I remember doing a book trail every summer holidays. I used to go to the library, pick my book, read it at home, then collect stickers for milestones etc.

Does anyone else remember this?

Do libraries not do this anymore? My son can now read & thought it would be a lovely thing to do over the summer whilst keeping him reading.

Would love to hear if anyone else's library is doing this?

Thank you!

Yes, it's not called a book trail, it's the Summer Reading Challenge. This year's theme is Roald Dahl but you don't have to read his books.

Big Friendly Read

Oh yay! No wonder I'm not finding anything on Google! Thank you so much!

Our library has done it every year for at least 13 years now!

I loved this. Still got my badge.

I think it was Book Track back in my day. 100 hundred books got you a gold badge in 1994 ish

Wow turns out they haven't even re-designed the badges for Devon!
